Located in the center of town, just behind the main bus station, the Moravian Youth Center Hostel offers its guests an calm oasis on the slopes of the mighty Mbeya range in Southwest Tanzania. Mbeya is a great place to go on excursions for spectacular views of the East African Rift Valley. It is also a perfect springboard to explore the magnificent Southwest Highlands, within striking distance of Ruaha National Park (Tanzania’s second largest reserve) and Katavi National Park (one of the most remote and underdeveloped reserves in the country). Only 2 hours from the Zambia – Tanzania border and 3.5 hours from the Malawi – Tanzania border, the Moravian Youth Center Hostel is an excellent place to relax and to refresh after crossing the border.
